Hug a Bear
“Red Rocks Paradise” is unique and like nothing else to be found in the area. As soon as you park your car a beautiful lit up pathway with solar torches will lead you to the glamping site. The campsite is set back at the very end of a 3 acre property next to a little creek bordering open space.
This is one of two unique glamping units set up on private creekside property. Both tents are elevated on a beautiful reclaimed redwood deck and share the same amenities.
Glamping site “Hug a Bear” is romantically lit at night time and artistically decorated. The artwork (by Sabin, your host) covering the tent was exhibited at the McNichols Civic Center Building Downtown Denver a few years ago. Now it is enveloping your restful night under the starry sky of Colorado. The space offers you a coffee maker, a water kettle, water dispenser, BBQ, a heated mattress pad and electricity. You will enjoy the delightful back side view of the famous Hogback mountain. All guests have access to the bathroom area. Guests have each their own private area including porch and BBQ.
Just a few steps away from your tent site and next to the parking area you will find a bathroom facility including a clean portable toilet, sink, shower and refrigerator.
We do our best to provide many of the comforts of a home for your “glamping” experience but make sure you are prepared to stay in the great outdoors which includes bugs and it is still camping. If you do not like bugs or occasional spiders, this might not be for you.
We cannot control the changes that both weather and the surrounding environment may cause. Although we provided an extra blanket and the tent has mosquito nets, we encourage bringing bug spray, warm clothes, flash lights, extra drinking water and other items you might need to make your stay pleasant. Please be aware of the weather and plan to dress accordingly. In cooler weather we will provide a heater.
We Sabin & Randy are artisans and live and work on site. We are happy to help and assist with any questions that you might have. Our intention is to make your experience comfortable, relaxing and memorable.
